Hey kids! Are you ready for a super fun story? Get your imaginations ready, because today, we’re going on a walk with some very special friends. And guess what? They’re all vegetables!
So… once upon a time, in a village filled with sunshine and laughter, someone came walking down the road. Guess who it was?
It was Tomato!
Red, shiny, and round like a ball, Tomato was strolling along; bounce, bounce, bounce; with a big smile.
“I’m walking, walking, walking ahead! I hope I find a friend to walk with me!” said Tomato happily.
As he walked along, guess who he saw?
It was Spinach! Wavy, leafy, and full of energy.
“Hey Spinach!” called out Tomato.
“Tomato! Where are you off to?” asked Spinach, swaying in the breeze.
“I’m going for a walk! Want to come with me?”
“Yes, yes! Let’s go together!” said Spinach, joining him.
Now the two friends were walking, walking, walking… talking, laughing, and looking around.
Soon, they met someone else.
It was Carrot! Bright orange, tall, and always smiling.
“Hey hey hey! Where are Tomato and Spinach going?” asked Carrot.
“We’re going for a walk! To the garden! To the park! To play!” they both shouted together.
“Oh wow! Can I come too?” asked Carrot excitedly.
“Of course! Come along, Carrot!”
Now three friends; Tomato, Spinach, and Carrot; were walking together. They walked, they laughed, they told jokes, and they looked around with wide eyes.
Just a little ahead, they met one more friend.
It was Lime! Small, round, and super zesty!
“Hey friends! Where are you all going?” Lime asked with a curious bounce.
“We’re off to the garden to play!” said Spinach.
“To play? To roam? To swing and run?” asked Lime.
“Yes! Come with us!” said everyone together.
And just like that, Lime joined the veggie gang.
So now there were four friends; Tomato, Spinach, Carrot, and Lime; marching ahead on their fun adventure!
“Oh ho! How far is this garden?” asked Carrot, getting a little tired.
“It’s close! Really close!” said Spinach. “Come on!”
And soon enough… they reached!
The garden was big and beautiful; filled with flowers, green grass, and all sorts of fun!
They slid down the slide, ran across the field, swung on swings, played hide-and-seek, and laughed till their tummies hurt!
After a while, Lime looked up at the sky.
“Oh no! Friends! It’s getting late! We should head home!” said Lime.
“You’re right! It’s late!” said everyone.
So, hand in hand, the veggie friends walked back; step, step, step; happy, tired, and full of memories.
Once home, they ate their dinners, drank some warm milk, and smiled, thinking about their walk and the fun they had.
